The Association of Irish Musical Societies (AIMS) and American College Dublin (ACD) are proud to announce a collaborative scholarship opportunity for a student wishing to study musical theatre at the third level. This exciting announcement comes as no surprise given that both organisations play an integral part in musical theatre in Ireland.
AIMS boasts over 130 musical societies nationwide, incorporating 14,000 participants directly involved with musical theatre and has an audience base of 1.2 million.
American College Dublin is the premiere institution in the country, providing Ireland’s first musical theatre degree graduates, and with outstanding alumni who are already gracing the international stage.
The common ethos is to nurture and develop talent in the genre of musical theatre.
Successful shortlisted applicants are invited for an audition and interview process with a panel of members from AIMS and ACD; the successful scholarship recipient will be announced at The AIMS June Awards Ceremony at The National Event Centre in Killarney.
